Pumpkin Bars

Try these delicious snacks when you need lift. Our earthy CBD honey adds a unique flavour to these classic autumn bars, simply perfect for Halloween but definitely more of a treat than a trick!

Serves: 12

Ingredients:

• 2 cups of all-purpose flour
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1/3 cup of Honey Heaven CBD honey
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup of vegetable oil or coconut oil
• 1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
• 1 tsp of baking soda
• 2 tsp of baking powder
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• Pinch of salt
• Mascarpone frosting
• 250g of mascarpone cheese
• 1 cup of icing sugar
• 1 tsp of vanilla

Procedure:

1. Preheat the oven at 180C
2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
3. Add all the wet ingredients and mix until smooth, removing all lumps
4. Bake for 25-30 min until toothpick comes out clean
5. Let cool
6. Mix frosting ingredients until smooth
7. Cover the cake with the frosting and optional walnuts
